About us

Who We Are:
Ideal Relief Committee Trust (IRCT)
IRCT is a registered trust working towards social upliftment of vulnerable groups in Maharashtra

PSF Mumbai and IRCT will work in collaboration for Educate Child Project.

Professional Solidarity Forum, acronymed as PSF, is a group of professionals from various streams of corporate Indian and multinational companies. Our volunteers presently comprise of mainly IT and engineering industries. We are residents of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, its suburbs and Thane.

We kick started our journey with 15+ professional in April 2017. Presently our volunteers are to the tune of 140+, contributing in some or other way to the causes for which PSF strives.

PSF is running the Kafalat project in joint venture with Mumbai based Ideal Relief Committee Trust (IRCT), a registered (having certification of 80(G)), non-Profit organization, who initiated this sponsorship program. The program was in lull due to the deficiency of dedicated operating team.

PSF, unlike other NGOs and trusts, looks at the educational sponsorship differently and wish to give a feel to the sponsors, of the change, which they not only just monetarily sponsor, but dream for a chain effect of educational reform in our country.

Presently our volunteers are to the tune of 140+. contributing to the causes for which PSF strives.....

Values and Philosophy:
1. The project envisages to steer an educational upliftment of competitive, but financially challenged students, irrespective of their religious, racial, caste, sectarian, colour, linguistic identities.
2. PSF, intends to drive, the change, primarily through its volunteers and associates, and look for other sponsors around them, with high level of trust, transparency in operations, equal opportunity for all candidates, with tangible results and thus contribute to national development, primarily, and humanity, at large.
3. PSF intend to maintain the confidentiality of the candidates, in order to keep the self-esteem of the recipients intact and therefore do not display the images of the selected candidates.

Our objectives:
With the significant presence of professionals in the mainstream corporate segment in our country, who are not only contributing for organizational goals, but are also enhancing their living standards, PSF felt the need to pool these untapped talent for following specific tasks.

1. To bridge the gap between industry needs and academic performance
2. To develop sustainable community services with a clear vision and professional edge
3. To sensitize fellow volunteers towards leading a purposeful life, contribute to their spiritual development and enable them to deliver their professional expertise for the benefit of humanity
4. To provide a multifaceted platform to fellow volunteers to impart and nurture additional skills and competencies

How We Works

It is being implemented by Ideal Relief Committee Trust (IRCT) under its flagship program entitled “Kafaalat”. The project is already in operation. IRCT is supporting children of target group from our limited resources and this is a continuous process of supporting children rather than a one-time activity.  With the availability of more resources, IRCT can help more children.

The project is subject to evaluation on a quarterly basis. However, day to day monitoring of its progress is being carried out by the local unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and the Ideal Relief Committee Trust (IRCT), where these children reside and attend school in consultation with the children, and the beneficiary community members to ensure attainment of the project goal. Quarterly reports are being made availalbe for the donors to confirm proper and effective use of resources received. All the necessary information and photographs concerning the children are available on request.
PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY:
Keeping in view the dismal situation of the educational and social status of the Muslims, the organization wants to fund more and more students for meeting their basic educational requirements. But due to financial constraints, it is not possible to provide assistance to children belonging to the vulnerable group on large scale. Hence, the trust has set a target of sponsoring 100 new students for every next academic year.

There is a procedure laid down in the executive guideline of the program, which briefs about how candidates are sponsored, right from identification, selection, posting on website to receipt of donation, transferring it to the corresponding candidate and finally maintain their records.

To Make the project run as self sustained, for initial 3 years All the donations are devided as 80:10:10, where 80% donation goes to Program, 10% on promotion and 10% on admin charges.  we planned to reduce the admin charges as the donaton grows.
